This comet looked like a planetary nebula or Foucault's test of telescope mirror.
2007 Nov 7.76UT, 46cm 68x
The nucleus got darker but the coma swelled nearly 30' in diameter. Extremely faint and short tail extends from outer coma toward SW. The elusive tails and outer coma that many CCD photos reveal were not observed, even though I used Lumicon Comet filter with 46 cm, 15x110, and 8x50 binocular.
